Douglass Hut – Lünersee circular route with detour to Gafalljoch (Cavelljoch) – Douglass Hut
The starting point is at just under 2,000 m altitude. During hikes and mountain runs, red blood cells are enriched there. This subsequently improves the oxygen uptake capacity. This increases performance enhancement. But above all, you just feel happy and satisfied after a run or hike. The food and drinks afterwards taste even better.

Directions
From the Lünersee mountain station, you walk leisurely along the reservoir for a while. After the entry to the Gafalljoch (Cavelljoch), it goes uphill. The views at over 2,000 m altitude are unique. The return route is the same as the ascent. When descending, take small steps as it is easy to slip. Hiking poles are advantageous. Once you reach the reservoir at the bottom, you can take the other side of the lake as a return path.
