Culinary Pleasure Tour | Brand

On the way, you will visit three gourmet stops and be spoiled by the hosts with regional delicacies.

The first pleasure stop awaits you in the middle of the Brandnertal at the restaurant Frööd on the Burtschasattel with a magnificent view of the Rätikon mountains and the Schesaplana, the highest peak in the region. The second variant of the Brandnertal culinary pleasure tour starts at the valley station of the Dorfbahn cable car in Brand. You can reach the starting point in an environmentally friendly way with the bus line 580 to the “Brand, Dorfbahn” stop or alternatively with your own car. Sufficient parking spaces are available at the Dorfbahn in Brand. The first stage to the first pleasure station is very comfortable. You float comfortably up to the Burtschasattel with the Dorfbahn and Panoramabahn. Directly at the mountain station of the panorama cable car you will find the restaurant Frööd and thus also the first pleasure station. After the first culinary highlight, you continue towards Palüd. On the way, you will enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and discover secrets of alpine nature and its inhabitants along the Natursprünge trail. On the second stage, the hiking trail starts at the Burtschasattel. From here the trail leads to the Parfpienzsattel and then branches off to the left towards the Innere Parpfienzalpe. Please note: This section of the trail is also a mountain bike trail. Please hike along the side of the trail on this section and watch out for mountain bikers heading downhill. The goods path leads past the Innere Parpfienzalpe and from there up to the Niggenkopf. From here, take an easy forest path towards Palüd and continue to the restaurant Melkboden. The Nekola family and the team provide another culinary highlight along this enjoyment tour. After a stop at the restaurant Melkboden, the hike now leads back down into the valley and to the third pleasure station. On foot, you pass the Palüd-Maisäßen and head down the valley to Brand Innertal. Alternatively, this part of the last stage can also be completed with the Palüd cable car. From the Palüd cable car valley station, walk a short distance into the valley. At the level of the chapel, you change to the other side of the Alvier stream. There the path leads out of the valley. At Brügga, cross the stream again, cross the bridge and immediately turn right onto the footpath. Follow this to the Alvierbad natural bathing lake, from there it is only a few metres to the Valavier Aktivresort. At the third stop, the Meyer family will spoil you with a fine sweet treat. Follow the main road out of the valley for the last few metres to the starting point.
