    With the best view to the alpine pasture settlements.

    The day of hiking will be commencing with a leisurely trip by cable car to the Baumgarten mountain station. From there, you’ll enjoy a wonderful panoramic view across the Bregenzerwald to Lake Constance. This hike will take you past numerous Bregenzerwald alpine dairy farms. Always follow the signposts towards Schönenbach. The hiking trail runs slightly uphill to the Niedere. Continue along the scenic alpine path until you reach a wide freight trail.

    First take the right downhill below the Stongerhöhenalpe before walking back uphill to the Lingenauerealpe. The Sammerealpe is visible from the wooden cross. Head downhill in that direction. You’ll reach the Schreibere Saddle after around 20 minutes. A hiking trail branches off to the right at the signpost shortly before the Leopoldstobelalpe. A steep ascent will take you to the alpine area of Hinteregg. Another 60 minutes downhill will bring you to the beautiful alpine pasture settlement of Schönenbach. The bus will take you back Schönenbach to Bezau.
