Höhenprofil
Climbing Piz Buin, at an elevation of 3,312m the highest peak in Vorarlberg, is an alpine high mountain route and only possible with a rope team. The route leads from the Wiesbadener Hut over the crevassed Ochsentaler Glacier and includes easy but partly exposed climbing to the scenic summit. An overnight stay at the Wiesbadener Hut is recommended.
We recommend climbing Piz Buin only with a certified mountain guide. Tour bookings see www.montafon-bergfuehrer.at.
It is advisable to hike to the Wiesbadener Hut the day before. The summer path (however white-blue-white marked) is attractive for the outward journey. You can also reach the hut via the pull path (white-red-white marked).
An overnight stay at the Wiesbadener Hut should be reserved in advance.
We recommend climbing Piz Buin with a certified mountain guide. See www.montafon-bergfuehrer.at.
