    Tennis court Gortipohl (Blendolmaweg) - Camping Rudigier - Außerbach - Leisure park Mountain Beach Gaschurn - return

    A very attractive and flat route. Although 62 meters of altitude must be overcome on the 4.7 km long route, no climbs have to be mastered. These are always slightly ascending and not difficult to ride. Very scenic and no roads have to be crossed. Overall there are three large loops, one of which is the Mountain Beach loop. The entry can be from the tennis court Gortipohl or from Leisure park Mountain Beach.

    Many trails in the inner Montafon can be reached via the connecting trail "Ill." From the "Galgenul Runde" to the "Mountain Beach Runde," this trail connects various loops. This trail is only advertised as a connecting trail because it lies directly on the winter hiking trail and does not meet our quality standards. Cross-country skiing trails in Montafon can be used free of charge.

    From the tennis court Gortipohl (entry at the overview board) the trail leads downstream through a large loop. Then it goes through a forest clearing (near the river Ill) and again opens up to a large, very visible field. At the end of this field, the trail goes through a small forest again and you reach the Außerbach loop or this is located on the Mountain Beach loop. The return is usually on the other side of the field.

    The regional buses of the Montafonerbahn operate throughout the Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns station.

    From Schruns station you can reach Gortipohl or continue to Gaschurn with bus line 650. The drop-off points are: “Gortipohl center” or “Explorer” in Gaschurn. In Gortipohl the entry point is at Blendolmaweg and in Gaschurn at the Leisure park Mountain Beach.

    For the return trip

    With bus line 650 you can get back from Gaschurn or Gortipohl to Schruns station.

    Arrival by train

    The Montafonerbahn runs hourly (sometimes every half hour) from Bludenz station. There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and from Bregenz.

    Approach:

    Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon motorway exit and follow the L188 into Montafon to Gortipohl or Gaschurn. In Gortipohl there are parking spaces in the center. A short walk along Blendolmaweg leads you to the trail entry.

    You reach Gaschurn by driving further into the valley. The next municipality is Gaschurn. On the right side is the Leisure park Mountain Beach.
