Here you will find the complete snow report from the Vorarlberg ski resorts (updated daily) plus additional useful information such as open ski runs into the valley, number of lifts, open cross-country ski trails, etc. We will also post information on how long the cable cars & lifts in Vorarlberg will operate in winter.

Good snow with the prospect of fresh snow in the mountains: Up to 155* cm snow depth in the higher ski areas (e.g. in Lech am Arlberg), 80 cm in Damüls or Mellau, 95* cm in Gargellen, up to 85* cm in Kleinwalsertal. Good skiing conditions and perfectly groomed slopes also prevail in the medium-altitude ski areas (e.g. 30* cm in Laterns)! See for yourself with our livecams!

Stylish, regional and cosmopolitan: “Ski & Concert” is a meeting place for everyone who is looking for a subtle ambience away from the classic apres-ski offerings. According to the motto “Ski in & Chill out”, the ski day ends with great live sound from pop and rock to folk music on the open-air stage at the Sporthotel Steffisalp in Warth.

Valley of Sound

At the Valley of Sound from 13 to 15 March 2026 in Kleinwalsertal, festival feeling meets alpine winter scenery for three days. Various stages and special locations are spread out between the valley and the mountain. With live bands, DJs and different vibes, Valley of Sound spans the spectrum from driving electronic beats to hip-hop and rock. Admission is free of charge.

Snowman Gathering in Kleinwalsertal

The open-air après-ski party in winter: With a good mood, cool drinks and a vibrant atmosphere, we celebrate winter every Tuesday from 4 pm on the village square in Riezlern! Live bands and DJs provide rousing beats until 31 March 2026.

Tanzcafé Arlberg Music Festival

Hip sounds meet snow-covered peaks at the “Tanzcafé Arlberg”. Live bands play various musical styles such as jazz, hip-hop, regional dialect pop, brass sounds, electronic music, rock ‘n’ roll, swing and ska at Rüfiplatz, in the ski area, in hotels and on various sun terraces. From 4 to 19 April 2026 it’s off to the dance floor! The Tanzcafé Arlberg takes place in 5 locations throughout the Arlberg.

Sound Peak Damüls

Spring skiing, music and enjoyment: 4 open-air concerts take place on the sun terraces in Damüls in March and April. With various bands and DJs, there is something for every musical taste, so that the stop-off becomes a feast for the ears and palate for everyone! Admission is free with a valid ticket for the Damüls-Mellau-Faschina cable cars.

The big season finale in the Silvretta Montafon

There are special events for the season finale in Silvretta Montafon in March. On 12 April 2026, you can celebrate the ski finale in the Nova Stoba with the Vorarlberg culture band The Monroes and win a car to boot. Admission to the concerts is free with a valid ski ticket!

Wine Gondolas at Lech Zürs am Arlberg

Another highlight at the end of the season is the unique wine tasting “Weingondeln” (“Wine Gondolas”) in Lech Zürs am Arlberg on 18 April 2026. For an entire afternoon, skiers and winter hikers can taste selected Austrian wines, talk to wine growers and enjoy culinary bites in the gondolas of the Auenfeldjet cable car.

Vorarlberg FIS Ski Museum

The history of skiing in Vorarlberg goes back some 130 years. The focus of the Ski Museum’s permanent exhibition is on three areas. Starting with the beginnings of skiing in Scandinavia, important Vorarlberg skiing pioneers are presented. A second focus is on ski production, which was initially in the hands of Wagner companies. The long list of medals won by racers at the Winter Olympics and World Ski Championships proves that Vorarlberg is a state with a great racing tradition.

The 2nd floor currently houses a special exhibition on the topic: “75 years of HEAD & Hubertus Hohenlohe”

Winter in the mountains - spring in the valley

While there is plenty of snow up on the mountains, things are beginning to blossom in the valleys and especially around Lake Constance. If you want to combine a day’s skiing with a detour into spring, take a bus or train to Bregenz, for example, and take a walk along the shores of Lake Constance. The lake excursion can be combined with a visit to the vorarlberg museum or Kunsthaus Bregenz. Or take a detour to nearby Feldkirch or the flourishing town of Hohenems with its museums, sights and small, family-run stores. You can find spring leisure and travel tips here:
