The Goldener Berg hotel in Oberlech am Arlberg is rich in tradition. In summertime, guests have direct access to the hiking trail network and in winter the entire area is car free. What’s more: The hotel is located directly on the slopes of Austria’s largest ski area (ski-in, ski-out). Located up high and decorated in harmony with nature and the mountains, the hotel is an oasis of tranquillity featuring personalised service. It’s the perfect venue for healthy, sporty family holidays.

The Goldener Berg offers 40 rooms and suites in all sizes and for all needs. The property, which is owned by the Pfefferkorn family, has been modernised whilst retaining its Alpine charm. Natural materials such as timber and stone are paired with light-coloured fabrics and clear design.

In wintertime, four different restaurants ensure that guests have a diverse culinary experience featuring Austrian, traditional, international and healthy cuisine – all in award-winning quality. Over 1000 different wines from our cellar lend expression to years of collection, love, and appreciation for the very best grape varieties and estates. The Alpin Spa fulfils its promises and is a refuge of water and the healing power of the Alps. A spring-fed pool, outdoor pool with views of the mountains of Lech, Kneipp pool, various saunas, quiet rooms, fitness and therapy rooms for deep relaxation, cleansing & purification, enjoyment, escape, new directions and understanding. Kids will be occupied all day long with their professional caregivers during ski lessons, the kids’ club, during climbing, milking cows, and simply enjoying adventures in mountain nature. The Oberlech ski school is located just 2 minutes by foot from the Goldener Berg. Oberlech and the surrounding environment offer everything families need for a perfect holiday together.
