-
Höhenprofil
This section of the Way of St. James starts in Klösterle am Arlberg and leads through the Klostertal valley to Bludenz.
From the centre of Klösterle, walk along the “Sonnenweg” towards Danöfen and along the old railway line of the former Arlberg railway with views into the Klostertal valley and to the Davenna mountain group. A railway footpath continues to Wald station with a crossing of the pressure pipeline of the ÖBB Spullerseekraftwerk power station. From Innerwald, walk along the little-used road to Außerwald to Radonatobel, St. Martin’s Chapel and continue on a footpath above the Alfenz to Dalaas. On the right-hand side of the Alfenzweg, cross the bridge to the Krone inn and climb to the Müß hill on the shady side. A forest path leads to the Fallbach (high waterfall), a path back to the Alfenz. Cross under the motorway and walk to the right of the Alfenz to Gantschief. From Mühleplatz, hike uphill to the right for a bit, through Innerbraz and on to Außerbraz. At the Hotel Traube, walk uphill to the golf course, along its southern end, at the Radin farmhouses turn left to the road and the St. Leonhard Chapel. There you go up to the right, out of the valley over the Gasünd hill and down to Bludenz, where the Arlberg Trail reaches the valley floor at the St. Peter monastery.
