The day begins at the Wälderhof in Lingenau. You’ll start the tour by following the road toward Großdorf. After crossing the overpass over the Subersach, turn left at the bus stop onto the bike path toward Schetteregg. You’ll reach Schetteregg via the Fallenbach and Fohren areas. Then follow the bike signs toward Sibratsgfäll. Passing through the beautifully situated mountain hamlets of Eggatsberg, Hammeratsberg, and Rehenberg, you’ll arrive at the Leugehralpe. You’ll then cross the Subersach River and reach the Krähenbergalpe. From there, a paved road leads to the center of Sibratsgfäll. This idyllic mountain village has 400 residents. It lies in a sunny valley basin at over 900 m above sea level, free of through traffic. All around, the mountains of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park come into view, along with impressive peaks such as the Gottesackerwände, the Hohe Ifen, the Diedamskopf, and the Winterstaude.

From Sibratsgfäll, first follow the old road via Mähmoos up to the Sausteig area. There, a path branches off to the left toward the former “Moorbad Sibratsgfäll.” Then continue cycling along the state road into the center of Hittisau.

From Hittisau, a farm road leads over the Rotenberg—and through magnificent selection forests—back to Lingenau.
