Via ferrata Burg

At the Burg via ferrata, you can hone your climbing skills all year round: with just a few meters of elevation gain and a gentle incline, you’ll climb along a ridge—and enjoy unique views along the way!

This short via ferrata is ideal for families and beginners who want to gain their first experience or practice belaying techniques. The route follows the ridge with only a slight elevation gain and a gentle incline and can be hiked in either direction. Along the way, impressive views of the deep valleys below and vistas of the Heimspitze, Madrisella, Versettlaspitze, and the 3,000-meter peaks of the Silvretta open up.

The route can also be climbed in winter, though it is recommended only for experienced winter via ferrata climbers. In winter, the via ferrata is rated difficulty C.
