Schröcken | Village tour

The loop begins in Schröcken near the church square and initially heads downhill, briefly along the main street until the turnoff to the Oberboden district. It then continues uphill into the Wald section. Passing a farmhouse, a narrow path leads into the forest. The route follows this high-altitude trail all the way to Neßlegg.

There, you’ll walk a few meters downhill along the main road until, shortly past the “Alpenblick” bus stop, a farm road branches off to the left and crosses a small bridge. After that, a trail begins that leads uphill to Lake Körber.

Once you reach Körbersee, continue along the lake until, behind the lake, a few steps lead to a wider farm road. Follow this road downhill, past the “Alpmuseum uf’m Tannberg,” continuing on the farm road until a trail branches off to the left toward Alpe Felle. After Alpe Felle, the trail follows the farm road back down to the village of Schröcken.
