    The loop begins in Schröcken near the church square and initially heads downhill, briefly along the main street until the turnoff to the Oberboden district. It then continues uphill into the Wald area. At a sharp right-hand curve, turn left and walk past the house there along the path toward Geiersbergalpe. Passing the Geiersbergalpe, the trail continues onward to the Heita. After a leisurely break, take the same path back down the hill.
