  • Höhenprofil

    Between the church and the Schröcken Tourist Office, follow the municipal road, turn right past the old Hotel Mohnenfluh, and continue along the farm road to Alpe Felle. After passing Alpe Felle, continue along the trail to the fork, where you turn right toward Fürggele. 

    Now you’ll need your hands free to climb up the rock face, which is partially secured with ropes. After a few exposed sections, the final stretch leads over loose slate. Once you reach the summit, you’ve earned a well-deserved break. 

    The trail continues past the Braunarschlarte to Lake Butzensee. 

    Tip: Lake Butzensee is perfect for a refreshing dip! 

    The trail then continues past the Butzenloch toward Schröcken. Shortly before reaching Alpe Felle, turn right and cross the Bregenzerache. 

    Tip: Take a moment to catch your breath and pause here. This is where you’ll find the Gletschermühle energy spot. 

    Continue along the trail, keeping left at the next two forks, and you’ll reach Schröcken.
