    The one-way route starts on the lakeside promenade in Friedrichshafen. The signposted Lake Constance Cycle Route initially follows the shore, passing through Langenargen and Wasserburg before reaching the island town of Lindau and continuing to Bregenz.

    From Bregenz, the route continues along Lake Constance. It passes through Hard, Fußach and Gaißau, crosses the Rhine Delta nature reserve and then continues via Rheineck to Rorschach.

    The route is mostly level and can equally be ridden in the opposite direction.

    The cycle route heads from the port of Bregenz along the lake shore to Lochau. Cyclists should follow the markings from there to Lindau, Bad-Schachen through Wasserburg to Nonnenhorn and on to Langenargen through Eriskirchen to Friedrichshafen.
