Karhorn (2.416 m)

Relax once more on the ride up on the Steffisalp-Express before you set off. By now, you’ve already covered most of the elevation gain. From the mountain station, a narrow hiking trail leads straight up. Passing the Wartherhorn-Express mountain station, the trail climbs up to the Wartherhornsattel. 

You’ll walk across the Wartherhorn Saddle toward Lech. At the next fork, turn right. From there, the trail leads straight up to the summit of the Karhorn. 

Once you reach the summit, you’ve earned a well-deserved break, during which you can enjoy the breathtaking view. 

The return trip follows the same trail you took on the way up. 

Summit tip: If you still have enough energy and would like to climb another peak, you can turn right at the Wartherhorn Saddle toward the Wartherhorn. There, too, you’ll find fantastic panoramic views and a vista over Warth. 

Note: Climbing the Karhorn is only possible with via ferrata equipment!
