    The panoramic via ferrata leads to the Haunauer Hütte and is therefore ideal for a day trip to the Lechtal. There are several options for a change of pace!

    By car from Lech Zürs to the small village of Boden on the Hahntenjoch. From here a wide forest path leads into the valley in the direction of the Hanauer Hütte. Below the hut the path becomes narrower and steeper, after a few hairpin bends you will find the entrance to the via ferrata on the left (clearly marked). The via ferrata has several emergency exits and several variants, making it ideal for advanced via ferrata climbers. Nevertheless, strength and endurance are required at the vertical points. Several D-places require strength, concentration and surefootedness in steep terrain. You will be compensated with a wonderful view of the vast valley, directly below the via ferrata runs a mountain stream, which invites you to cool down after your efforts. After the via ferrata you deserve a snack at the Hanauer Hütte before returning to the valley via the hiking trail.

    If you want to hike even further after the via ferrata, there are numerous worthwhile peaks around the hut.

  • Public transportation:

    Take the train to Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg station. From there, buses (no. 91 +92) run at regular intervals to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    Approach:

    From Germany: Take the A 96 to Bregenz from there on the A14 to Bludenz, continue on the S16 to the Lech Zürs am Arlberg exit. Follow the B197 to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    From Switzerland: Via the A13 and the Feldkirch, Hohenems or Lustenau border crossing onto the A14 as far as Bludenz. Continue on the S16 until the exit Lech Zürs am Arlberg. Follow the B197 to Alpe Rauz, turn left here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.

    From Austria: Take the Inntal motorway A12 and then the S16 to the St. Anton am Arlberg exit (Arlbergpass). Follow the B197 first through St. Anton, then through St. Christoph and over the Arlberg Pass to Alpe Rauz. Turn right here onto the B198. Through the Flexengalerie and over the Flexenpass you reach Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
