    Großvermunt - Madlenerhaus - Silvrettasee

This beautiful snowshoe route amid the mighty Silvretta mountain massif is located above the tree line between 1,800 and 2,100 m above sea level. Surrounded by the rocky mountains of the Silvretta, the hike leads across a wide high plateau through snowy and very quiet winter landscape to the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe with the Silvretta Lake. There are three places to eat there: Madlenerhaus, Gasthof/Hotel Piz Buin, and the Silvretta House.

This route is shown on the overview map "Aktivkarte Schnee" on the back with the green number 6. The map is available free of charge at the Montafon tourism offices.
