    An easy and family-friendly circular hike with a panoramic view of Lake Constance, as well as the Bregenzerwald, the Allgäu and Swiss mountains.

    With a wonderful all-round view, a well-paved path leads up to the Niederehöhe. The path then branches off to the left and leads down to the Vordere Niederealpe. From here you can hike comfortably in about 20 minutes back to the Baumgarten mountain station.

    The Andelsbucher local mountain “Niedere” is not only known for its magnificent view from Lake Constance to the Swiss mountains. Paragliders also appreciate the mountain for its good thermals. When the weather is good, they float around the mountain and across the valley like colorful butterflies.

    The Panorama Restaurant Baumgarten and the Gasthaus Niedere take care of your physical well-being.

  • Directions

    From the mountain station of the cable car in Bezau, the scenic path leads along the ridge up to the highest point, the “Niederehöhe”. Soon after, the path turns and leads along the northern mountain ridge to the Vordere Niederealpe. Magnificent alpine flowers, karst forms and wetlands can be experienced on the circular route.
