Campsites

Vorarlberg's campsites are located in the middle of nature, on the shores of Lake Constance, romantically on the edge of the forest, in the most beautiful mountain valleys.

Camping in Vorarlberg

Explore Vorarlberg’s camping world: Austria’s shore of Lake Constance may be the shortest of the three neighboring countries, but it is in no way inferior in beauty to the German and Swiss shores of Lake Constance. The Alps rise up behind the towns and villages on Lake Constance. The wonderful panorama is enchanting wherever you look!

In Bregenz and Fußach, camping enthusiasts will find pitches right by the lake. Those who prefer to be out and about in the mountains can choose one of the pitches in the valleys and on the high plateaus. Thanks to the short distances in Vorarlberg, water sports, mountain pleasures and nature experiences can be easily combined everywhere. The famously good cuisine provides culinary delights. Cultural festivals enliven the summer throughout the state, museums provide insights into interesting topics and the special (wooden) architecture is surprising. Walks through the pretty little towns of Bregenz, Dornbirn, Hohenems, Feldkirch and Bludenz are a welcome change. A boat trip to Lindau on the German side is a good idea.

Please note when camping in Vorarlberg: Camping and camping in the forest is prohibited throughout Austria! Out of consideration for sensitive natural and landscape areas, camping outside of campsites is prohibited in most Vorarlberg towns. On private land you need the consent of the landowner. Please contact the respective municipality on site!
