The Karren: Featuring views over Dornbirn, the Rhine Valley and the intersection of three countries! This is the starting point for numerous hiking trails. Savouring the panoramic views was never so delicious thanks to the panorama restaurant. The Karren-Kante is a viewing platform that extends 12 metres over the ridge. It is the perfect spot to enjoy breathtaking views and, of course, a few selfies.

02 The activity-rich Golm mountain - Illwerke cable cars

From the town of Bürs, the valley rises upward towards Brand at an elevation of more than 1,000 m. At 1,979 m, Lake Lünersee is situated at the foot of the Schesaplana mountain and is a popular destination for excursions. 400 km of hiking trails and climbing gardens ensure a variety-filled programme for nature-lovers, adventurers and families. The Brandnertal valley is well equipped for families in summertime. The FRÖÖD mountain restaurant is situated at 1,680 m and is located just 10 steps from the mountain station of the panorama cable car.

Featuring views of over 300 mountain peaks, the Diedamskopf in Au/Schoppernau in Bregenzerwald is one of the most scenic excursion destinations in the four-country region. The magnificent panoramic views will leave you speechless. In just 15 minutes along a secured walkway, visitors can continue up to the 2,090 m Diedamskopf peak.

The Kristberg in Montafon is a family-friendly local recreation area with appealing offers for families, sports enthusiasts, activity seekers, and those looking to slow things down. Summer is for families. Here in Kleinwalsertal, parents and kids take centre stage. Children and teenagers (younger than 18), when accompanied by a parent, may take the cable car for free. Fun is bubbling up along the “Burmiwasser” trail, which leads from the mountain station of the Kanzelwandbahn cable car to Lake Riezler Alpsee. In addition, the two-country region Fellhorn/Kanzelwand is a flower-filled paradise and an ideal excursion destination for families.
