Culinary Pleasure Tour | Brand

On the way, you will visit three gourmet stops and be spoiled by the hosts with regional delicacies.

The Brandner variant of the Brandnertal culinary tour starts at the valley station of the Dorfbahn cable car in Brand. You can reach the starting point in an environmentally friendly way with the L580 country bus to the “Brand, Dorfbahn” stop or alternatively with your own car. Sufficient parking spaces are available at the Dorfbahn in Brand.

The first stage to the first enjoyment station is very leisurely. You float comfortably up to the Burtschasattel on the Dorfbahn and Panoramabahn cable cars. The Frööd restaurant is located right next to the mountain station of the panoramic cable car and therefore also the first gourmet stop with a magnificent view of the Rätikon mountains and the Schesaplana, the highest peak in the region.

After the first culinary highlight, the route continues towards Palüd. Along the way, you can enjoy fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and discover the secrets of alpine nature and its inhabitants along the Natursprünge trail. At the Parpfienzsattel saddle, the trail branches off to the left towards Innere Parpfienzalpe. Please note: This section of the trail is also a mountain bike trail. Please walk along the edge of the path on this section and watch out for downhill mountain bikers. The goods trail leads past the Innere Parpfienzalpe and from there up to the Niggenkopf. From here, follow an easy forest path towards Palüd and on to the Alpengasthof Melkboden .

The Nekola family and the team at the Alpengasthof provide another culinary highlight along this enjoyable tour. After a stop at Alpengasthof Melkboden, the hike now leads back into the valley and to the third gourmet stop. On foot, you walk past the Palüd-Maisäßen down into the valley to Brand Innertal. Alternatively, this part of the last stage can also be completed using the Palüdbahn cable car. From the valley station of the Palüdbahn, walk a short distance into the valley. At the chapel, cross over to the other side of the Alvierbach stream. The path now leads out of the valley. Cross the stream again at Brügga, cross the bridge and turn right onto the footpath. Follow this to the Alvierbad natural bathing lake, from there it is just a few meters to the Valavier Aktivresort.

At the third stop, the Meyer family will spoil you with a delicious sweet treat. Follow the main road out of the valley for the last few meters to the starting point.
