  • Directions

The panorama route starts at the parking lot of Aktivpark Montafon and runs downstream along the Ill river to St. Anton im Montafon at a leisurely pace. On the route to St. Anton im Montafon, you can already warm up a bit. Then the climb begins. Already in the first ascent from St. Anton station towards Jetzmunt, you can quickly find a comfortable pace. Steadily, you gain altitude. After Jetzmunt, the path continues uphill through forest sections, and after the forest clearing, you find yourself on the Panorama Road. A well-deserved name, because the panorama is very impressive. You already have the Bartholomäberg parish church in view. A stop directly at the Bartholomäberg parish church invites you to take a break. In addition, the Baroque church Bartholomäberg is one of the oldest churches in Montafon. The route continues on the Panorama Road, initially quite flat with great views. From the Fernblick holiday hotel, the climb intensifies again, and at Innerberg, you reach the highest point of this racing bike tour. Below the church of Innerberg, the descent towards Silbertal begins. The route goes downhill in switchbacks. Once at Silbertalerstraße, you can decide whether to take a small detour into the town center of Silbertal. The Mining Museum (observe opening hours) could be visited. Turn left for this. Otherwise, turn right and follow Silbertalerstraße along the Litz downstream until you reach the town center of Schruns. Via Bahnhofstraße and Wagenweg, you return to the starting point at Aktivpark Montafon.
