    Silvretta Park Montafon (valisera cable car valley station) – Partenen – toll station - Ganifer – Verbellaalpe – Neue Heilbronner Hut – return via same route

    On this mountain bike route, you can look forward to a unique panorama. From the starting point St. Gallenkirch, the route climbs gently up to Partenen. After the toll station, you ride on an asphalt road over Ganifer towards Verbellaalpe. This section also includes steep passages. After a short break at Verbellaalpe, you tackle the last altitude meters up to the Neue Heilbronner Hut. The reward for your efforts is a wonderful view.

    Important note:

    Mountain biking is only allowed in the Verwall European protected area between June 15 and October 15 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on designated routes. On the Silbertal – Tirol route, the temporal restriction applies from June 15 to September 15. More information at: http://www.naturvielfalt.at/verwall/

    On this mountain bike route, the panorama is the focus. From the starting point St. Gallenkirch, the route climbs gently up to Partenen. After the toll station, you ride on an asphalt road over Ganifer (no car traffic) towards Verbellaalpe. This section also includes steep passages. After a short break at Verbellaalpe, you tackle the last altitude meters up to the Neue Heilbronner Hut. The reward for your efforts is a wonderful view. Note: The Scheidsee (European watershed) with the Alpine Club hut offers a unique photo opportunity.

    The regional buses operate throughout Montafon. The main lines run every half hour from Schruns station.

    Travel by train to Montafon

    From Bludenz station, the Montafonerbahn runs hourly (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) or Bregenz.

    Approach:

    Take the A14 to the Bludenz/Montafon exit and continue on Montafonerstraße L188 to Gaschurn.
