Directions
Ascent with the Versettla Bahn (circulating cable car) to the Nova Stoba mountain station (2000 m). Climb over Burg to the Versettla peak (2372 m) and further, mostly along the ridge, to Matschuner Joch (2390 m). The descent leads through Matschun into the Garneratal, past the maize settlement Ganeu to Gaschurn. The road from Ganeu to Gaschurn is recommended, the path through the gorge is only suitable for experienced hikers. In Gaschurn: pilgrimage chapel Maria Schnee, nature and leisure park “Mountain Beach”. Tip: Bus and lift use free for holders of the Montafon-Silvretta Card. Beautiful view from the Versettla peak. Scenic impressive, partly secluded. The pristine Garneratal was a film set for “Schlafes Bruder”. Beautiful maize settlement Ganeu.
