    3 km long natural toboggan run from Grabs over the Gauertal to Latschau.

    The ascent from Latschau to Grabs takes about 1.5 hours.

    Toboggans can be rented at the Grabs mountain inn.

    From the Grabs mountain inn, the toboggan ride descends fast and slightly curvy through forest sections down into the Gauertal. Then you continue via the Volspora path to Latschau. The total elevation difference of the toboggan run is 360 m. The toboggan run is groomed.

    Just leave your car standing

    The regional buses of the Montafon Railway operate throughout the Montafon. The main lines run hourly from Schruns train station.

    From the Schruns train station you can take bus line 601 to Latschau. The stop is: “Power plant“. From the bus stop, walk up to the fire station, following the “Aqua Path” (signage). At the end of the parking lot, you can start the winter hike.

    For the return journey

    You can take bus line 601 back to Schruns train station.

    Arrival by train

    The Montafon Railway runs hourly from Bludenz train station (sometimes every half hour). There are also direct connections from Lindau (D) and Bregenz.

    Approach:

    Coming from Bludenz, take the Bludenz/Montafon motorway exit and follow the L188 into the Montafon until the Rätikon junction Schruns-Tschagguns. Turn right there and follow the road into the center of Tschagguns. In the center, continue straight until you reach Latschau. Before the power plant, turn left and follow the road up to the parking lot at the fire station.
