Bike & Hike Juppenspitze (2.412 m)

From the center of Schröcken, ride along the municipal road, passing between the tourist office and the church. At a sharp left-hand curve, turn right and follow the wide gravel path uphill to Auenfeld. 

From the Auenfeldsattel, head toward Lech. Once you reach the Untere Gaisbühelalpe, park your bike and continue the tour on foot. 

Follow the trail under the Auenfeld Jet and past the Obere Gaisbühelalpe. At the fork in the trail, keep to the right. From there, continue along the trail to the Juppenspitze. 

At the Juppenspitze, you’ve earned a well-deserved break, during which you can enjoy the breathtaking view. 

The return route to your bike follows the same path you took on the way up. 

Then ride back to Auenfeld, and just before you pass under the Auenfeld Jet, turn right and follow the trail uphill to the Salobersattel. At the Salobersattel, turn right and continue to the Salober Jet mountain station. 

From there, the trail continues past the Panoramasee. Once you reach the Hochalphütte, turn left and ride downhill to the Jägeralp-Express valley station. From there, the trail continues to the left until you reach Salober. At the Salober parking lot, merge onto the main road and follow the L200 to Schröcken. 

Important note: Bring a bike lock and lock up your bike. 

Bike: Schröcken church – Batzenalpe – Auenfeldsattel – Untere Gaisbühelalpe

Hike: Untere Gaisbühelalpe – Obere Gaisbühelalpe – Joch – Juppenspitze – Joch – Obere Gaisbühelalpe – Untere Gaisbühelalpe

Bike: Untere Gaisbühelalpe – Auenfeld – Salobersattel – Jägeralpe* – Hotel Adler – along the main road to Schröcken

or *Jägeralpe – Alte Salzstraße – Warth
