From here, follow the trail via the Vors\u00e4\u00df Boden and the Bergkristall Hut to the Annalperaualpe. At the Annalperaualpe, a mountain trail leads steadily uphill to the headwaters of the D\u00fcrrenbach.&nbsp;After a while, you\u2019ll pass the Steinkare, which remains covered in snow well into the summer, and shortly thereafter you\u2019ll reach the start of the rock face. Ascend via the Ostscharte and climb the rock face\u2014partly secured with ropes\u2014up to the 1-kilometer-long summit ridge. On the rugged and exposed ridge, a head for heights and sure-footedness are absolutely essential as you make your way with careful steps toward the summit cross. The panoramic view from the summit is unique and lets you experience the vastness and a sense of freedom. Descend via the same route.&nbsp;Note: This hike requires a head for heights!"}
