The hike begins in Lechleiten at an elevation of about 1,500 m. At the start of the mountain hike, the trail leads uphill through lush green fields and flowering meadows. After a short walk, the trail narrows significantly and winds its way upward through mountain pines.Once you reach the tree line, the trail passes through a hollow where you can enjoy a truly postcard-perfect view. On the rock face—which is partially secured with steel cables—full concentration, sure-footedness, and a head for heights are essential.During the ascent through the rock crevice, there are several climbing sections to navigate. Once you reach the ridge, the imposing summit cross is almost within reach and can be reached in just a few minutes. The panoramic view from the summit lets you experience pure summit joy. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.Note: This hike requires a head for heights! On hot summer days, you should start the hike in the early morning hours, as the route runs almost entirely along the south-facing slope.
