The trail leads past the Hotel Mohnenfluh on the right, following the road through the Bregenzerache Gorge to Alpe Felle. After Alpe Felle, follow the hiking trail uphill. When you reach the fork in the trail, turn right toward the summit. Continue along the trail all the way to the summit of the Hochberg. The approach trail then leads back down. At the intersection near Alpe Felle, a narrower path branches off to the right toward the Fellbach stream. After crossing the bridge, a trail ascends gently until you reach a fork on the left that leads to the Gletschermühle viewpoint. From there, the trail continues on to Schröcken.
