The path leads through the Ill-Au and widely scattered houses and farms, between which lie pastures and gardens. On the route, the agricultural character of the place can be very well recognized. From the church, it goes down to the Ill, along a shady forest path to Gortipohl, up to the sunny side of the valley and past open meadows and stables back to St. Gallenkirch.
