- Forest adventure trail | Marul
Two different adventure trails in the Biosphere Park Großes Walsertal offer a lot of variety and fun for the whole family.
Interactive trail on topics of the alps, the forest, animals and nature. Some of the highlights are a 300 years old elm, a fire pit for barbecue with hammocks, a window to the soil, a sound hut and a do-it-yourself wooden hut.
There are two options:
Length: 3,4 km
Walking time: approx. 1,5 h
Elevation gain: 300 m
This trail is especially recommended for familys with smaller children. Nearly all interactive stations are included. Last station is the fire pit at the pond. From here you can cross the Marul creek and go back to Marul village.
Length: 5,6 km
Walking time: approx. 2,5 h
Elevation gain: 450 m
This trail is the extension to the short route. Special information to nature, geology and the valley is located at this part. And not to forget the marvellous viewing points and the breath-taking bridge over the gorge.
Ideal for families and also perfect as a day trip!
