Forest Experience Trail | Marul

Two adventure trails of different lengths in the Großes Walsertal Biosphere Park offer plenty of variety and fun for the whole family, but also interesting facts for anyone interested in nature.

Young and old discoverers walk together along the Marulbach stream, linger and dream, play in and with nature and get creative. There is definitely no room for boredom on the forest adventure trail in Raggal-Marul! Those interested in nature will also get their money’s worth on the forest adventure trail in Marul if you choose the large loop.

Short version (map/gpx-data) – especially for families

• Length: 3.5 km
• Walking time: approx. 1½ hours
• Altitude difference: 220

In the course of this variant, which is especially recommended for families with small children, almost all stations with games of skill are included. The pond with the barbecue area is the last stop on the short variant. Here you also cross the Marulbach stream and return to Marul.

Long variant

• Length: approx. 5.6 km
• Walking time: approx. 2½ hours
• Altitude difference: 260

As an extension of the short route, this variant features stations on nature, geology and interesting facts about the valley. Not to forget beautiful viewpoints and the breathtaking bridge over the gorge!

Ideal for families, also perfect as a day trip!
