Hiking trails, huts and attractions can also be found in the nature adventure map, which can be purchased at the tourist office in Hirschegg.
The walk starts in Hirschegg right after the “Leitobelbrücke”. You can reach the entrance within 15 minutes coming from Hirschegg. Walk down Mühleweg and Leitobelweg or Dürenbodenstraße and Leitobelweg. You can’t miss the entrance, there is a big sign. Just a few steps into the path there is already the first station. Now just follow the path, there are no ascents. About half way there is a BBQ spot.
The last 10 minutes of the way you have to climb a rather steep ascent. If you want to avoid that you can just walk the path the other way round.

From Austria (Vorarlberg) and Switzerland you reach the Kleinwalsertal via the Bregenzerwald (Hittisau) – Riedbergpass – Fischen – Oberstdorf. From Tyrol the fastest route is over the A7 to Kempten carrying on along the B19 direction Oberstdorf. A motorway vignette is not required to reach the valley.
