  • Höhenprofil

Ideal hike for the entire family around the Feuerstätterkopf. There are many great viewpoints along the way to enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery of the Bregenzerwald and the nearby Allgaeu.

The tour leads from one alpine pasture (that invites hikers to hearty snacks and refreshing drinks) to the next. At the Gasthaus Alpenrose you follow the signposts through the «Geolehrpfad Rindberg» to the Wildriesalpe and the Lustenauer Riesalpe. The Bergrast Wildries provides hikers with food and drinks. The track continues around the Feuerstätterkopf to Gmeiners Burstalpe, the Burghüttle (where you can eat, drink and even stay overnight) and the nearby Güntlealpe. The track leads over the Sättle to Vögels Neualpe and Grümpelalpe back to the starting point.

You can also hike from the Berghütte to the peak of the Feuerstätterkopf to enjoy the view. (Appr. 30 min hike) GeoRundweg Rindberg: The lap visibly and perceptively highlights nature’s strength. In May 1999 the hillsides of plot parcel Rindberg started to move inexorably and destroyed 20 buildings, streets, fields and forests. The tragedy left a lasting mark. Many information boards provide interesting as well as useful information about the events and give insight on how the residents of Sibratsgfäll handled the situation. http://georunde-rindberg.at/
