Museum Urgeschichte Koblach

Learn about and experience the prehistoric age at the Museum of Prehistory in the town of Koblach. The museum is located in the DorfMitte Community Center, which was newly opened in 2010. Here visitors can become acquainted with the field and research methods used by archeologists to investigate locally found objects from the Neolithic, Bronze and Iron Ages. The way of life of people in those seemingly obscure prehistoric times is outlined and explained in displays of artefacts and finds from the surrounding Kummenberg region, and supplemented with models, pictures and sketches from throughout Vorarlberg.
