via Innsbruck – Arlberg road tunnel or Arlberg pass road or via Reutte – Lechtal – Bregenzerwald (Note: the L 198 Lechtal road from Warth nach Lech is usually closed in winter).
The Kleinwalsertal can be reached on the A7 via Memmingen – Kempten – Immenstadt or Füssen – Immenstadt or Lindau – Immenstadt (B308), then continue via Sonthofen and Oberstdorf.

Preview: The Arlberg road tunnel will be completely closed for five months from 24 April 2023 due to extensive renovations of the almost five-decade-old roadway. The Arlberg Pass will be the regional alternative route from the beginning of the full closure. At the weekend, there may then be delays on the pass route due to traffic congestion. Alternative routes are the Arlbergpass road B 197, the Fernpass B 179, the route Rosenheim-Munich (D), via Gotthard and San Bernardino (CH)).
