02 Foodtruck and live music in Dornbirn
In the summer of 2020, the new food truck “EUGEN” delivers delicious Mexican delicacies, refreshing drinks and good sound at the “wirtschaft” in Dornbirn. The delicacies will be available every evening from Monday to Saturday, with the sound on Friday and Saturday.
03 The healthy natural cuisine with Thorsten Probost in Lech
Thorsten Probost has been cooking in the Arlberg region for almost 20 years. “Nature is the architect of my kitchen,” he says. Therefore, he only uses first-class products from local suppliers. From July on every Friday you can discover, explore, experience and taste the mountain with Thorsten Probost.
04 Visit the Beekeeper in the Kleinwalsertal
Every Friday, beekeeper Kurt Müller takes interested people on an exciting journey into the world of bees. Learn and see more about the function of animals in nature and how the beekeeping trade works. Each participant receives a glass of Walser honey.
05 Wine tasting in the Vinnova, Montafon
In the highest wine tavern in Vorarlberg an expert sommelier accompanies a wine tasting with three different wines every Saturday. This is accompanied by cheese and ham from the Alpine region as well as coffee specialities.
06 Culinary summer at the Seekopf
In 2020, the Seekopf mountain restaurant opens its doors for the first time in summer. The menu includes crispy suckling pig from the grill in Rankweil every Saturday and fresh char and trout from the fish pond in Zug every Sunday.
07 Schtûbat picnic service in Andelsbuch
Culinary lovers can reward themselves with a Schtûbat picnic basket after a 45 minute hike in the “Äschach” near Andelsbuch. Full to bursting with homemade specialities. Afterwards you can visit the in the stable of the Metzler family, the yoghurt supplier of the Schtûbat, or you continue your hike to the Niedere.
08 Panorama-E-Bike-Tour to an organic farm in the Kleinwalsertal
Once a week, connoisseurs cycle by e-bike to the organic farm Ferienhof Stefanie in Kleinwalsertal and learn more about farm life and taste specialities made from cow and goat milk in the farm’s own alpine dairy.
09 Culinary city tours in Feldkirch
Exciting stories about Feldkirch on various topics can be experienced at close quarters during guided tours through the medieval town. Culinary lovers will get their money’s worth with the “Schnabulieren und Degustieren” tour and walks to weekly markets or the topics bread & salt.
10 Panoramic hike to the bee colonies in the Montafon
Every Tuesday, beekeeper Harry tells interesting facts about the way of life of the bees in the Montafon mountains. Participants learn all kinds of things about the production and processing of honey and other bee products.
11 Wine culture in Lech Zürs am Arlberg
For lovers of good food and Austrian wines, restaurateurs and hoteliers in the Arlberg have put together special packages under the motto “Arlberg vineyard in summer”. Get to know hosts, winegrowers and the special features of Lech am Arlberg in the quiet natural landscape and exclusive atmosphere.
12 Krumbach moor inns in the Bregenzerwald
In Krumbach, a hiking trail invites guests to explore the local moor landscape. Fittingly, three local inns have made the moor the theme of culinary excellence, using plants, berries and herbs to refine both food and drinks.
In the summer the four Krumbach moor inns invite guests to join a dawn walk on the moor with a hearty breakfast as a reward. The tour starts at 6:00 in the morning; breakfast is ready from 8:00. Price: EUR 25 per person.

This fish pond is located in the heart of the Zugertal valley on the Lech stream at the edge of the forest. All are welcome to rent fishing equipment here. Entry to the pond is free and best of all: If so desired, the catch can be prepared in the kitchen at the pond.
