18.07.2010 - 03.10.2010: Bregenz, Kunsthaus

Kunsthaus Bregenz: Cosima von Bonin

With the last documenta, in which Cosima von Bonin (born in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1962; lives and works in Cologne) participated with numerous works spread throughout the show, the artist has clearly and once and for all forfeited her status as an insider tip or so-called “artist’s artist.” Her work has still been rarely shown in Europe since then.

KUB Project: ANTONY GORMLEY Horizon Field

Antony Gormley has staged spectacular projects in archetypal natural landscapes all over the world, including along the sea, in the desert, and in Norwegian fjord landscapes. Horizon Field consists of one hundred life-size cast iron figures of a human body. The sculptures are spread at 2,039 meters above sea level over roughly one hundred and fifty-one square kilometers in the remote Bregenzerwald and Arlberg areas!

02.09.2010 - 12.09.2010: Schwarzenberg

Schubertiade Festival Schwarzenberg

The most significant and distinguished Schubert festival in the world. Chamber and orchestra concerts, lieder recitals, exhibitions etc.

11.09.2010 - 26.10.2010

This and other, similar questions will be addressed at the 14th Philosophicum in Lech by renowned philosophers, economists, cultural and social scientists, and discussed with the audience.

03.10.2010: Bregenz

One Marathon – Three Countries

The Sparkasse Marathon starts on 3 October, 2010. With some 5000 participants it is the largest running event in the Lake Constance region. The itinerary runs through Germany, Austria and Switzerland, always with a view of Lake Constance.

Advent Season at Schwarzenberg

Schwarzenberg, the village with its wood-shingled houses, the landmarked village square and its art-historically important parish church, provides the ideal backdrop for contemplative pre-Christmas events. Concerts, Christmas markets, exhibitions, cookery courses and story tellers may be visited.

26.11.2010 - 27.11.2010: Lech Zürs
