airports Zurich and Munich are approx. 1.5 hours away by car, the regional airports Friedrichshafen and St. Gallen-Altenrhein are just a half hour away.

With approximately 160 5-star and 4-star hotels as well as 310 3-star establishments, the region boasts some 23,000 beds. 74 family-owned hotels offer conference and seminar rooms. For large congresses, close co-operation with hotels in nearby Germany and Switzerland is maintained. 49 toque-awarded restaurants in all of Vorarlberg and a number of traditional guesthouses pamper their visitors.

The cultural program: Vorarlberg is setting for numerous events all year round, for example the Bregenz Spring Dance Festival (March to May), the Bregenz Festival (July/August), the Feldkirch Festival (June) or the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg (May, June, July, August/September) and Hohenems (October to May).
